Can we see the skydivers in Freefall from the plane? Yes, Air to Ground Communications is made just before the skydivers exit the plane, the ground control personnel is responsible for telling the crowd what is happening and the crowd can be completely involved in the whole jump.

Does is require a big area to land? 50X50 yard area is a good size, bigger is better, Smaller areas have to be examined to determine if a jump can be made there.

What altitude do the skydivers exit the airplane? Anywhere between 2,500' AGL and 11,000' AGL depending on the situation.

Is skydiving Demonstration jumps allowed in my area? Yes, FAA has to be notified and permission as to be granted for each jump at a minimum of 24hours notice and up to 30 days. BASEWV handles all communications with FAA prior to your event.
